Today started with sewing
And cat
After lunch, washing on the line as we now have sunshine and a stiff breeze after yet more rain this morning!
Then some weeding....
I would love a garden like this...but giving a hand is a good substitute!!
Rant whilst waiting...now getting on with life

I have garden envy....and daughter needs a hand!
More treats please!!
Indeg (named after one of their friends) is "un deg naw oed"...19 years old...and very vocal!!
I was catted....
Daughter has also had a breakthrough with genealogy...my 4x and 5x grandfathers were named Jean Florette...came from just south of Brittany...and for 150 years or more were going between London and France....and were Protestants....this is getting very interesting!!
Seems that I have Huguenot ancestors, not just Pirate.....
I am trying to walk at least half an hour every day.
1930s style new blocks of expensive flats built on the River Ayr end of the Lang Scots Mile promenade.
Admittedly they do have a nice view..
But they contrast strongly with the rest of the locality.
And some of the old walls
Showing the effects of the sand and wind after a couple of hundred years...I wonder how those flats will look in fifty years, let alone two hundred.
Excuse me, who are you looking at?? People are so rude, interrupting cat politics....
It was a beautiful morning..until 8am...shorts were rapidly changed for trousers...going out, a jacket was added...and by mid afternoon the rain started lightly.
Now we are back to proper rain, wind and it would be tempting to put the heating on, until I think of the cost!!
We have been catted.
This says, You need to rest after yesterday's journey!
A long journey, but with enough breaks.
We started as dawn was breaking, in wind and rain, and that carried on for 150 miles.
Then it was mainly dry until after we arrived. The traffic wasn't too heavy, even going around Shrewsbury at afternoon school traffic time, but we found out when we got here that it is half term time!
Food was on the table for us as we arrived...and a welcome from Woodchip, The Carpenter's daughter (I don't use real names for family on my blog).
Now for hopefully an easy day!
