Rant whilst waiting...now getting on with life
When you find a good place....we stopped again at the Geraldine Top 10 camping ground..and got the same cabin!!
No parade today, but we called into "The Pin Tin" fabric....and all sorts of other things....shop. we were last there three months after they took over the business, and they are doing very well...and remembered us!!
A good idea.. parking for small PSV vehicles.
And where else for breakfast than the Running Duck?!
And this time we used the Facilities too....
Great decor!!
We have been here before...and hopefully will again!
Like the Running Duck cafe, new management, but nothing has changed..nothing needed to!!
There are a few more Wood Men in various places around the town, mainly with small businesses....but we didn't stop, as our next campsite was three hours away...
On our own now! Our first short (130km) hop to Geraldine. We stayed in the Top 10 campsite and after arriving Pirate had a short nap..to be awaken by the sounds of pipes and drums! The Christmas Parade was gathering just outside!!
It looked like the whole town was out, of all ages!!
And the police lead and escort cars..and drivers..were suitably attired!!
This place has real community spirit!!
We haven't visited it this time..but we can recommend the Running Duck cafe!!
Perhaps on the return Northwards?
