Geraldine Christmas Parade

On our own now! Our first short (130km) hop to Geraldine. We stayed in the Top 10 campsite and after arriving Pirate had a short nap..to be awaken by the sounds of pipes and drums! The Christmas Parade was gathering just outside!!

It looked like the whole town was out, of all ages!!

And the police lead and escort cars..and drivers..were suitably attired!!

This place has real community spirit!!

We haven't visited it this time..but we can recommend the Running Duck cafe!!

Perhaps on the return Northwards?

Wow! How cool is that. All those old vehicles and tractors! My husband would be in his glory.

Seems funny Christmas in shirt sleeves.

Funny! Love the community spirit! I'm surprised to see so many people in puffy jackets -- isn't it summer down there? (Then again, I see t-shirts on some of the kids.)
