Today we went to watch a friend ride an important mountain bike cross country race, at Lochore Meadows Country Park...sounds good? It was the site of the Mary Mine, one with a sad history of fires, firedamp(methane) explosions and casualties.
Now it is a country park for cycling, walking.sailing, golf...a healthy addition to the community instead of a blight on it.
