They look like the toy cars from my childhood!

I looked at the first photo and searched for the moggy. Hmm I thought, it must be there otherwise you would not have photo-ed it. Still no moggy in sight, so moved on to the next picture...still no moggy then ooooh! Moggy minor NOT moggy cat...doh.

Lovely photos x

It used to be an occasionally seen car in the States. What a set of pictures!

Oh my. NZ looks more and more like a magical fictional place.
There's something about those little jelly-mould cars that brings about an image of a somehow innocent, retro-world, where nothing nasty ever happened. In reality, they're cars of the fifties and sixties, when we were all expecting nuclear annihilation, and our governments were experimenting with all kinds of nasty stuff.
More tea, Vicar?

My sister had a split-screen one in NZ; maybe that green one (AX 6588) was hers.

a fine collection! The slightly floral one reminds me of this one seen in Abergwaun... http://www.flickr.com/photos/belvedere/544086510/in/photolist-Q5zXU-8Vn9zS-25tseC-2FBK6o-29tM9T-PWa2L-coezmN-bxWFTf-EdZ4b-EnFqp-6CvWZV-5r8aYM-8DhVCK-5EX4pP-6Tg5qQ-7qkt2w-6MTQEi-6Dzab3-6DuZBZ-6pFzLS-5y1QA3-4bPSA5-6FL7Dv-4sNTws-7mHLCq-5F2eoD-7ZgJob-8n6AQF-brB4io-6FQe8Y-bQYuSX-bBDRHL-avmKjH-6FL9Fc/lightbox/

Cro, the split screen one is at Keri keri in the Northlands and is owned by the people who make white port. You'll have to ask your sister!

Hi Gwynneth, Long time since been online. Just back from West coast USA where we also passed a place/yard with about half a dozen Moggies, pick-up, traveller, convertible etc. Just outside a small town, Port Townsend, in Wa, nearish to Seattle. A real surprise!
