garden progress and sunset

By the backyard is developing nicely into a small courtyard with herbs
The various potted plants on their small pallets, sitting on the path temporarily.
Another two beds are planned, one long, one square.
Windbreak base...there will be trellis above...and the bushes waiting to return there
peas on the up and up
and the back fence looking tidy at last...no entrance gaps for dogs or small children...
Then an evening ride, where we saw the Isle of Aran behind Drongan, with the sun shining on the Clyde.
 Then a developing sunset...
 Quite dramatic

Your garden looks very productive already. How nice to have fresh veggies and herbs. Wonderful sunset! I miss the UK sunsets in that they can go on for so long.

We have no grass at our new place, just a large courtyard, so I'm getting into pots in a big way! Garden pots, that is! You look like you're getting to grips with it all - it all looks really good! xCathy

I've been tidying up my herbs too - even making some pots for them so that they look half-decent on the patio. Supposedly being a potter I thought I might as well make myself useful!

I'm very much liking your pea frame. I've grown peas for the first time this year and they are on a sort of wigwam. Your thing looks much better.

I've been away from blogging for almost a month--i come back and see your backyard is transformed! What a lot of work---but what good results. Sometimes that happens... :)
