Sunday morning started colourful in Drongan
but soon went grey even before we got to Glasgow
and followed the motorway past the Falkirk mermaid on our way to Dunfermline
where it was muddy
and got even wetter and muddier by the senior race...
we were being pit crew with a spare bike and water and brush...every other lap or so our rider changed bike for a clean one...
and this is some wood on the outside of the building..Fife College provided the race HQ.
A long day, 160 miles travelling, but good to see and help friends

How good to have a clean(er) bike to switch out. What a grueling exercise.
A friend of ours just finished the Ironman triathlon. I'm in awe of him and of your cycling!
Thank you for checking in on my blog and congratulations on your new grandaughter! My sister's oldest son became a father on the 9th. too --- all the way down in Sydney, Australia. A little girl......Exciting times.
Molly I wouldn't put it past Fate to have a Cosmic Chuckle and see the two girls meeting in 20 years time!
Hmm - that weathered painted wood. It has me thinking about pot decoration. How's it going on that front?
All my equipment is now at home in Scotland, Mike...so next Summer it will be time to get potting!
