saving summer

 three large punnets of strawberries, three drying trays....one small jar of sweet nibbles

 A David Austin (aged 92 and still rose breeding) rose, "Munstead Wood"
 a beautiful rose, flowers well, marvellous perfume...drying for pot pourri, cordial, possibly a conserve....

I have never dehydrated strawberries. Must start using my dehydrator again.

I can smell them all from here.
I thought there would be a wonderful raspberry crop this year, but they have mostly shrivelled and hardened in the heat.I'm still using them for sauces etc. but it's disappointing.
