weather and failed astronomy

A trifle wet...but needed, even if it prevented us seeing the lunar eclipse.
We did see the Moon and Mars briefly last night...
This morning's Hannahston walk...

After watching Geraint's well deserved victory in the Tour de France...luckily in dry weather.. we now have a peachy glowing sunset.

My wife is half Welsh, so we are both celebrating Geraint's well deserved win in the TdeF. He has been the back up for Froome for so long it is his turn!

Sorry you missed eclipse...strangely enough, it happened without you, or me (being on wrong side of the world for this one.)

lush in your part of the world, we have a yellow landscape of straw gardens in sunny Surrey!

In Friesland we had both eclipse (rather rusty-looking) and rain, followed by massive hailstorms. Now we're back to sun and more sun. Lovely!
