I,do love this plant, it grows in so many countries, i think the flowers are leaves maybe, would love to grow one in the uk but probably too cold.

That is a plant from my past! Used to be a common hedge plant - both pretty and very secure!

We used to have a large on when we lived up north. Some of them have nasty thorns.

Yes there are plenty of these growing near our house in people backyards, very pretty but a voracious vine.

One of my favorite tropical plants...such great color! And then they drop the blossoms all over the place too! I've had potted ones hanging on a porch...in Florida. Can't keep them alive here in NC.

Years ago I bought a plant at a nursery (in Pennsylvania, USA) and was amazed by the beautiful papery flowers - they dried just as they are, so I saved them in a jar. Sadly the plant didn't survive. They really are fascinating!
