And printing more cards to restock my bit of the gallery
I kept the dehydrator on overnight...I know the plums were juicy...but this is six pounds of plums!!
Lunch was mainly from the garden...
And when the cards were done it was time to "change the air in your lungs" as grandma would say!
Onions weeded
Then lifted..they may not dry very fast now that autumn is here...but they will be out of the rain!

I'll take the potatoes. I love potatoes.
Those onions look a treat. At the moment I can't imagine a day I can make lunch from the garden but working in that direction. The cards look wonderful - they must be selling.
Your home grown lunch looks divine and I love your cards x
The onions look like jewels!
You have two creative enterprises going now, pottery and the cards. Good for you!
I was surprised to see your plums work down to one smallish jar.
Your cards look lovely. Is the new block print an image from France?
No, a view from the Auld Brig in Ayr towards the bottom of the High Street.
Still thinking about something from France....
I do not have a lot of experience with dehydrating, but have been experimenting. So far, I have done zucchini, summer squash, mushrooms, and celery. Of all of it, celery was the biggest shock. 3 pounds of celery turned into a couple inches at the bottom of a quart jar! I have 8 lbs of potatoes and 5 lbs of carrots to do. I let them go overnight in my oven. It does double duty, keeping the house warm as well.
Those onions are really gorgeous.
It does show how much is water! I remember grandma buying dried vegetables
A productive garden. My tomatoes and cucumbers in the greenhouse are starting to fade already, but have been quite bountiful. We now have the monsoon season here . . .
