moving again..positively...

We have found another place to live! Only 11miles from here, near enough and far enough!!
Ex-council 3up 3 down semi with front and back garden, rear access and room for our sheds.
Owned by a friend who wants someone living in it who'll look after it..so we'll be property guardians really..not bad for £50 a week ...so a £25 pw reduction instead of a £25 increase!!

That's a view from the vegan/veggie cafe in Ayr..with a view over the river to the Black Bull, the oldest public house in Ayr, now being renovated after a fire

Nice one! Well done - breathe a collective sigh of relief, now just to get settled and sorted :)

Halleluia! Wonderful. Sad to have to move again so soon, but these things happen. Are you still somewhat packed?

So happy for you and the Pirate to have found a good place and near by too. It sounds like you can plan on being there for a while, with a smaller rent !

50 quid a week? I'm amazed. I didn't think such prices still existed in the UK. Poor you having to move yet again, but lucky you with the price. I hope this'll be a little more long term.

Don't do anything more to improve the current place, they've had their money's worth. Good to hear your fortune has improved!

Zhoen...erm...yes. We haven't liked this place since we saw it 2 days before moving in...talk about buying a pig in a poke! Still, we had no real choice then, and we have a chance to carry on sorting and reducing.

And that café looks amazing too.

Well, that was another nudge in the direction of France
I own my French house out-right
In the UK I pay £1000 a month to rent a place 1/6 the size
It really is no-brainer, isn't it :(
