Ayr now has a big gap where Woolworths used to be,in between Georgian and Victorian buildings...a glass and concrete monstrosity has been given permission by the council...for the council offices... just round the corner from the old fishmarket....
After a visit to Ayr registry office, we visited the pub where we will be getting married in May....
and went for a walk fromhome
sheeps...or rabbits?????
still snow in them thar hills....

Well! You sure managed to slip that little tidbit of information under the radar.
Congratulations and felicitations to you both!
Married?!?!
Is this post from nine years ago, or are you really getting married this spring? (Congratulations, if you are!)
LOVE the doors!
Frex the doors are from nine years ago, and yes we will be getting married on 5 May....celebrating 6 years together...we would've celebrate on the exact date, but you can imagine the comments on May 4th......
Thanks for explaining ("Frex" is me)--and a real congrats this time.
And in a pub? Brilliant!
"Where we are getting married" she says nonchalantly. I can't criticise - that's how we did it. Two of us, two witnesses, a lunch for the four of us afterwards in a nice place a few minutes walk away and a honeymoon in Mallorca booked on lastminute.com. All the same... CONGRATULATIONS!!
