Rellies and gardening and community orchard

Two relatives were visited by us...much talk..and an unexpected lunch! Very nice indeed.

Possibly a photo mystery solved. I just need to check who got married on October 15 1927...and work out who "Peter 5months" was....

Then after a rest we did a couple of hours gentle gardening!

Just steady weeding and sweeping..

Then a cuppa and a walk

We hadn't realised that the North Downs Way crosses the village

Neglected coppice
No welcome

A brilliant resource

You appear to be a long way from home. I love Bluebell woods.

It all looks so green
Having help with the garden is great. You’ll be done in no time

That's a beautiful part of the country. Perfect for walking.

No man's orchard is a very evocative term! Are they allowed to block access if it is a public thoroughfare there? I saw an episode of Bad Move once...

Quite a day! I see you and I use concrete blocks in similar ways for planting and edging.
Your trail looks like an interesting walk, except for that unfriendly gate.
