Today our Fife friend came over and stripped down five bikes!! ( He has worked as a bike shop mechanic)
Now I have to clean, i.d. and price that lot!!!

So good that you can get something out of the old bikes. A lot of work, but worthwhile .
These ones no, as they had modern components on vintage frames. I should get more for both components and frames separately.
There are a couple of bikes that can go complete apart from saddle and pedals.
People have their preferences regarding those, so that is the best way all round.
Definitely better than just treating them as rubbish. All the worn-out components are going to the sculptor blacksmith in our collective for use.. nothing wasted!
