Walking in Ayr....and garden

I walked over the Auld Brig....where you can see the New Brig (only a few hundred years old!) and the harbour...and Arran..if you're lucky (haar haar!!) and walked halfway to the  Prestwick Toll. I'd missed the bus and so had time for a stroll!

A bit of shopping there and a bit in town.. looking for a slightly bigger but still small bag .....I'll have another look on Friday when I collect my tickets!

Then an afternoon in the garden, weeding and cutting the grass...good timing as it rained overnight.

...lovely butterfly, they are few and far between here.

Ah, a peacock! We've seen several of them this year. Our butterfly count has been relatively good compared to past years.

Great photos.

It has been dire here. I'm only just seeing plenty of white butterflies of various kinds. Not much else

Thankyou. It's surprising what a phone camera can achieve

Egyptian onions? or an allium flower emerging? My last garden had a garlic flavoured plant that did that thing of producing a cluster of bulblets on an aerial stem (and it had pretty flowers).
