As the cold front moved across Scotland (and points South as well) we had high winds and rain bucketing down.
I videoed it....on my old phone....bother!!
Today started indoors...no escaping house cleaning!! Towels and suchlike got washed and put on the rack..as the dehumidifier was on anyway to help dry the latest bigger bowls.
Homework was written out and submitted..I wonder what the tutor will think,?!
Fettling the small berry bowls after lunch.
When I can get the timing right they will need less "tidying up"....
and then the rain stopped after tea...
Time for some gardening...

Great looking compost.
It doesn’t look like winter is any hurry to leave.
I’ve been saving cardboard to put on the garden beds.
Lovely compost - and so much of it. I'm still grovelling a rough barrowload or two out of the bottom of massive heaps of woody stems and dry bracken.
It is definitely a step back into winter today - we've got light flurries of snow at the moment. I've still to prep my onion bed but I do have the sets in modules to get started.
It was something I started at the walled garden, in the early months before we could really get out and garden, we'd pop our onion sets into modules - kept the volunteers busy and gave them a bit of a head start.
Can't beat a good dollop of healthy, fresh garden compost.
We are cold in MA too. No snow melting today.
You've got a good supply of compost.
Good luck with the essay.
Can you not still download videos from your old phone? We had bucketing rain and wind here too. It actually woke me up in the middle of the night.
That is great compost. You asked where to put the seed trays - eek, same problem as we often run into here, lack of horizontal surfaces!
When you want to add photos, you get the choice of adding from google photos..but videos are from youtube or the phone you are blogging on....and if I'm tucked up warm in bed upstairs I'm not going down to get the other phone 😄
The weather caught me out too and left me with a lot of work to do.
...a cold front brought us wind and snow over night. Gardening is on hold!
well it would be boring with nothing to do!
yum. Are you planting red or brown onions?
Red
Here too! The winds are due to return again this afternoon. So many downed trees. Our power was out for 12 hours.
