Steady gardening has been the order of the day. Planting out 120 red onion sets (and protecting them from Jackdaws and cats!!
getting the last of the compost from the compost bin...I could have used twice as much.
I trimmed the shrubs in my front garden by my neighbour's wall. Gradually pulling everything together.
Her funeral is a week on Thursday. Hopefully one daughter will buy her siblings out.
Nothing much after that! Antibiotics aren't very good for one's Get up and Go.
It does feel like these are clearing my
back to front photo order..I haven't had that for a while!!!
sinuses. It may not be the reason for taking them, but they are at least helping in one direction!

...be well.
Looking good. You will have a good crop of onions.
That's a lot of red onions!! Look great in the ground.
doing my best.
hopefully. I'm nearly at the end of last year's crop
starting the sets in egg boxes - grand idea. We don't seem to get sets here - have to grow them from seed.
I can relate to the sinuses. (Sinus surgery coming up on the 30th). They can do a number to your headaches, can't they? Well, all that planting looks like a good remedy (along with the antibiotics). I'm impressed. And your protection devices are brilliant!
I'm glad the antibiotics are having a positive effect!
I hope your sinuses aren't playing up too much. Every Spring and Autumn mine give me sinus infections. I'm liking how well your red onions are doing.
The onions are looking great and you'll be well supplied. Onions add a nice savory flavor to many dishes, soups and stews. I have both fresh and frozen chopped onions on hand at all times.
You have been busy, even without much energy. Wishing you strength for the days ahead. www.melodyjacob.com
I grew red onions many moons ago - it was a good crop although we are a little too far north to enjoy the really cold weather required for greatness.
They are having a greater positive effect on my sinuses and chest! The finger hasn't got any worse if nothing else...
I envy anyone that has a talent for gardening. I just don't have the skills or patience.
Oh, onions! It is still far too wet to plant in my garden but maybe soon.
