back again

We're back in Britain...still a little jet-lagged, but getting there!

The Pirate is busy digging, dogwalking and grass mowing, while I'm down in Wales trying to seriously reduce Stuff, again.  Very seriously as we have no room to spare!!

It is not a job easily done alone.

I took time out today and went to Cardiff with The Oily One .  Lots of thinking time and list making (and left the list there!) and seeing a good friend too.

Now I'm trying my "new" big laptop!!  The next step will be to get an internet connection at home....also to get the password from The Wizzard!

It is raining again this evening, here in South Wales...but I spoke with The Pirate half an hour ago and he was sitting in our front window at home, watching the new lambs bounce about the field and the full moon rising.  I'll be glad to be back home in Scotland soon.

Welcome back. 'Stuff' reduction is no joke, we're trying to do the same with our 'stuff' and it is quite daunting!

well, rain apart, you timed your return well -spring's been kicking in at a furious pace (I practically melted, cycling round that London on wednesday). Welcome back!

Welcome back! I've enjoyed your posts from New Zealand. Completely understand what you are facing. Nice to know bouncy lambs and a full moon are waiting for you in Scotland. Big ((HUGS))

Welcome home. I quite expect it will all seem a bit strange for a while!

Glad you're back in time for the British summer, although it might have been last week!

Dru, I don't think London weather is typical!!
Hawthorn it would be easier if the stuff to be sorted wasn't over 400 miles from where we live...I want to move as little as is necessary!

Welcome back! I agree London has it's own weather sometimes...

and good luck with the stuff-sorting.

Good luck, I'm sure this will be much easier than you think, especially after the adventure you have just had, you will feel fit as a fiddle, once the jet lag goes, the adrenalin and excitement will whisk you along!
Welcome back to our shores, nice to have you back.

Hi - to my shame I have to admit that when we moved from the UK to South Africa then returned to the UK 5 years later, 'stuff' that we had no idea what to do with so just 'packed' returned to the UK and is STILL in boxes under our bed......It would be easy just to toss into the bin except it has certain family attachments, that is where the difficulty lies..

Welcome home!
Though it seems New Zealand was a pretty good home to you for a while.
On the reduction of 'stuff', well, I know how that is. If you come up with an easy way, let me know, won't you?

Somehow I know that when the magic piece of paper arrives, telling me the visa process has granted me entry to the U.S, then My 'stuff' worries will evaporate, I'll just get a skip and chuck it all out.

Up to then it's heaps of boxes, piles of books, clothes I don't need, crap, junk, debris of past lives. And it growls at me.

Get yourself off to scotland and don't look back!
