The Pirate sails on...

metaphorically speaking.....he can't swim...yet!!

The radiotherapy treatment at The Beatson
has finished today, and he is on his way back home in one of  the Ayrshire Cancer Care charity volunteer transport cars.

He presented them with the first UK Masters Track Champion jersey that he won in 2003, which was also signed by Graeme Obree (who he worked for at one time)

His first review is in a fortnight...here is hoping there will be good news

Wishing all the best news for you! My husband just had a rather extensive surgery on his face for skin cancer, nasty scar from eye to chin, now I kid him that he is a pirate :-)
I worry about the sun, but worry more about the ingredients in sunscreen, many are known to cause cancer, and it makes me wonder, is it the sun, which we need, or the sunscreen with chemicals which our bodies do not need...... It is a cancer planet indeed!
Sending good thoughts your way!
