a shortened walk.

 my snowman!

We walked over to Hannahston Woodland walk
Then the snow pellets started, stinging faces and melting in corners...so I turned back...and retraced steps

and by the time I'd got half way home, an inch of snow had covered all of our footprints
Since 3pm the snow and ice warning has increased to Amber until after breakfast tomorrow, and it has been snowing most of the time so far.

More printing tomorrow!

That does look bleak. I think the last time I saw snow was in 1970 when we were taking my parents down to Wellington to catch the ship home.

Those little cannabis plants look very cold!

very pretty but hope it doesn't cause too much disruption, the news has been saying we can expect 'thunder snow' which is something new to me!

that should read 'thunder snow' which is apparently a thunder storm of snow.

The 6th photo in that sequence is just stunning! The hill glowering behind the houses and under the cloud makes the buildings pop. You might have the basis of a new lino cut there.
