Whitewebbs Park

We had a walk before our annual Rixon family get-together in the council owned park (and woodlands and golf course and Toby restaurant) .
We missed the rain,luckily....and the cat found the dry spot!

So just up the road from me. We usually go past there on the way to the garden centres at Crews Hill, or events at my old college, Capel Manor.

There's a transport museum that holds autojumbles. My brother goes there to gets parts for his assorted Triumph cars, and appropriate accessories, such as road maps and guide books from when the car was made.

Long demolished, but somewhere near the King & Tinker pub, stood the original Whitewebbs House, where several members of the Gunpowder Plot stayed in the run-up to the events of Nov 5th.
