Just caught up with this. All roads and places I know and love. When I was a boy we had an Epps family living near us at Mereworth. They had moved there from Chilham. The family matriarch was "Molly". I wonder if there was a connection?
Molly Epps's children were: Gerald, Nigel, Valerie and Maxine. She also had an older son whose name I forget, but he was killed at Arnhem as a paratrooper. Ring any bells?
Sorry, I was going to tell you that, but cannot for the life of me remember although I can see him clearly in memory. They all lived next door to my grandparents, for God's sake!

Looks lovely - nearer to where I grew up.
There are similarities with the Massachusetts coastal roads.

Avus,Molly sounds like the Pirate's mum's first cousin....maybe...
