Feeling thoughtful

Ignore the first image repeat... sometimes the touch screen is too sensitive!!
Two more shop fronts from Victoria Avenue in Whanganui...
Only three more days after today, staying here.
Happy to have been here and made firm friends...very sad to be leaving and even sadder to think we'll be arriving back in Scotland a month to today..
Glad to get going on our garden and my workshop, looking forward to seeing friends and family...but dreading the political and social situation.
Hoping we can be planning to return here in a year and a half.....

The Posh Comfort place almost looks like it could have been a wee Art Deco cinema back in the day.

Apropos Scotland: Could a second referendum come to the fore? Staying in the EU would be, of course, good for Scotland. If Scotland were an independent country, then that relationship could be negotiated, no?

The 2nd building looks art deco - love old buildings. Hope you're glad to be back home.

Bea, we hope for both, but it will be hard work and there would usual be a lot of nasty propaganda flying around which unfortunately many would believe, without proper knowledge..as we have seen in the first so-called advisory referendum on Europe

It's sad to leave a place you love, even to return to a place (or people) you also love...
Too bad NZ is so far away (and therefore expensive to travel to).

Holding my breath for a good resolution to Brexit... (eek)
