The eye has it...and other things...

Right eye cataract op done...here's to the other...with luck will be done within three months.

Its a good thing we'd done the gardening jobs, and he'd done his shed roof...he has to Behave and be a patient Patient for two weeks...No dust, gardening, bending, lifting, OR bike rides !!

We had a walk around Hannahston before my ride today and had difficulty identifying a small tree...any suggestions?

I just did our basic round the block ride..its about 11 miles/a little over 17km...of course it rained a little...but not enough for the pot plants at home.

On this route there is what some call the local "Last of the summer wine" seat..which had a shelter built from old doors around a garden seat, used by local ex-miners.
This succumbed to the weather and a new one has been built, with name plaques for the original members.

How green and lush. It may be difficult, keeping that fellow quiet.

Yes, it must be hard to keep the active Pirate under gentle wraps for a couple of weeks. I hope the cataract op was a success. I guess I shall need one too at sometime.

Loved "The Seat" story!
