With friends

Before our friends left on their way home to the Outer Hebrides, we had a morning together...brunch in a café and a walk on the beach at Greenan Shore.

Over to Arran

Looking back to Ayr

Reminds me of a beach in Co.Clare that also has a ruined castle overlooking it....wish I could have a walk there!

Is that a castle or a ruin right on the cliff edge? Is it safe from falling into the sea? Your photos are beautiful.

They must find it quite busy compared with where they live.

Oh, I wish we could come walk that with you, too. Marvelous.

Sounds like you had a good visit and lovely walk. Wonderful pictures. Would love to see that castle, or what's left of it. Do you know the history of it? So close to the shore it could fall in, or perhaps has to some degree?

Some very high cliffs there, they look very tall and imposing

Good walk, good photos--thanks!

The castle looks rather precarious, perched on top of that steep cliff!
