Good...got a load of cards written..then went on the bus to Ayr to post them.
I had to buy a stamp for one to France...just over double a first class letter stamp....the rest I already had stamps.
That is practically all of the "family" cards done.
Just after 3.30 pm...
Back on the bus after a cuppa.... mistake... don't get the school commute bus.....not good.
I made a large batch of tomato sauce before supper. Very good!!
Then bad....sitting down to supper one of my porcelain tooth crowns came off....good thing I didn't swallow it!!

I foresee a visit to the dentist in your future.
Oh no! I hope the tooth repair is not too painful or costly. What a thing to happen.
Yes I can imagine the school commute bus would be a noisy, hectic ride!
Definitely glad you didn't swallow your crown! I hope you can get it reattached easily. I avoid grocery shopping at the time all the moms arrive with the recently released school children! Nothing wrong with their existence, just extra traffic and the kids tend to sneeze and cough all over the place (me being somewhat susceptible.) I do wonder how teachers manage to stay well...but then so do nurses and doctors. Amazing!
Hopefully the crown can be re-attached.
I must look for a recipe for tomato sauce. I have good tomato harvests.
Not the school bus!!!
Purgatory 😱
Argh - fillings and tooth crowns.... I hope it can be cleaned of old glue and reattached.
I'm just concerned about the other crowns of similar vintage...
Made the school bus mistake once, a zillion years ago! Lesson learned!
Toes crossed the crown is easily repaired!
All was going well until the crown released.
Hopefully the dentist can quickly re-attach the crown.
Oh bugger!
Oh no! Sorry about the crown! And yes, I've been on those school commute buses and they are NO fun.
I regret to say that the same thing happened to my front teeth and I DID swallow the caps.
I used to drive buses a long time ago, hated the school buses with a passion.
yum tomato soup is good in Winter, hope you had some warm bread to go with it. Hopefully your dentist can put your crown back on.
