Getting back in the groove....I dodn't make much, but my body needs to get used to working again!!
After lunch I got on with getting all the quilt layers together ready for basting before (hand) quilting.
Tonight's Duolingo French is going to be short..and I need to look through the homework for Saturday ...tomorrow!

...you should be tried, that's quite a number of pieces.
Fresca here.
Ooh, that all looks so inviting and touchable, both cloth and clay!
I love your pottery And that quilt has grown so much.
It looks great

I count 12 items - that's a pretty good first run! I do hope you will share them again once glazed... and the quilt is going to be marvellous. YAM xx
Just one of those tasks would have been enough for me!
Didn't make much?! Seriously! 6 bottles, 6 bowls like its just a warm up, a snack before breakfast. Can you roll the quilt onto the edge of a frame to make quilting easier?
Did my comment come through? I got two conflicting messages flashing up about it - one said awaiting approval the other said 'error'
I will once basted. I only have a floor standing embroidery frame and quilts get pinned and clipped on that. Then moved as I've quilted that piece. The frame is less than a metre wide
yes it did...mine does that sometimes
Creativity is just dripping off your fingertips. Such is art for an artist! Glad to see both media...the quilt reminded me of a recent exhibit in Raleigh NC...I'll post some pics soon.
Didn't make much, that looks like a huge amount to me. From my limited experience at the wheel it takes a lot of strength.
I love the shape of the vases. And the quilt looks just fantastic. LOVE it!
That looks like lots of pottery to me! All in one go? I'm impressed.
The quilt is lovely.
Wow, so many pots! Well done!
The quilt looks fantastic. You are getting into the home stretch now with it.
