Kirkmichael to Kirkmichael and back...

 Ayrshire to Perthshire, 140 miles...for the Scottish Potters' Annual weekend, with three demonstrators, exhibition for members, Raku workshop with David Roberts, all in the Field Studies Council centre, Kindrogan Hall .

We had an enjoyable time, got inspired and had a good rest as well...much needed.

Interesting kiln. The one's I remember from my college days were much more homespun looking. There was always that excitement taking the pots out... it was almost a spectator sport.

What a pretty place for creativity...i remember doing raku in high school and I loved that smell of the burning leaves. It's great to barter isnt it?!
