While in the bookshop cafe in town, Pirate received a phone call...could he be in the local hospital in half an hour????
We made it...just...and I spent the afternoon reading the reception magazines and papers as he had his second cataract operation! Thanks be for cancellations....and mobile phones!
Cue another four bikeless weeks...and no lifting, carrying, bending..but the job is done and all that will be needed is new reading lenses and bike riding lenses in the respective specs in four weeks' time.
