Yesterday we supported our local family owned garden centre and took advantage of the usual Spring special offers
Then did a little hoeing and weeding
And this morning the jackdaw lovebirds were eyeing up our eaves where the soffit needs mending...
He is scarifying the lawn...just don't tell him that is the patch that is destined to be the next vege bed.....
And I have at last reached the sewing table..now to see if the tension is ok.

Worthwhile tasks during all this 'sheltering in place' bizzo... YAM xx
That is one old sewing machine but those ones work the best.
We all grew up on that Singer. Ours had a knee "pedal". And what is that wooden handle on yours for?
Joanne it is, as Pirate says, "Handraulic"!
"Handraulic" - funny!
I'm envious because here in MN the ground is still frozen solid.
But I do have a sewing machine...
I must say, I've been so busy with one thing and another (cooking, going for walks, cleaning my room) I've barely had time to do any extra fun projects.
The only really new & extra thing I've done is cut-up soft fabric to make reusable toilet wipes.
I did NOT hem them, like I've seen in online instructions---Ha!
Considering what they're used for, I didn't feel it was worth the time & effort.
