Life goes on

For a few days we have been seeing even less than this from my study window!I looked through the photos I have been taking, and it is nearly all bike bits to go on eBay!Fresco commented on fb that she like the photos, just as images..well they are pretty shiny bits!

(Yes, there is a link, above the label list.. haven't worked out how to add a better one yet!)There are a few shots of pots..

The cotton reel, a universal measure for size!!Today it is quiet and sunny, there are two full loads of washing on the line, and I am sitting here waiting for Indesit to phone me back...parts ordered on 25 July, due for delivery by last Monday, still haven't arrived.  At least a new door latch kept it working, but the awaited motor brushes will have it working quicker, so using less power. They just phoned back...if the person who phoned is present , press one...so we do...and they repeat the message...press one as instructed..but it doesn't recognize it..You have reached the maximum number of attempts..back down the snake to the bottom of the ladder..looks like you have no choice but to chase things up online. On the health front Pirate is waiting for an urgent MRI scan, having been told in mid July that he was on the list ....when he phoned up, he wasn't on the list...Check with the doctor on Monday, she obviously kicked their wastepaper basket around and yesterday we received first class an appointment for CT scan which he was on the urgent list for...the date will be 27 August.  Full marks to our doctor.

I do like the photos -- not just blandly functional! Glad the doc came through for you. We've had several similar situations here!

Hope the MRI has good news.

Full marks to me, I recognize a shifter! Or is it a brake?

The MRI and CT scans worry me a bit. I hope he's o.k. My wife's doctor has just been through a bunch of tests with the medicos saying they all look good. Her mother has been through years of such tests and "results". It makes one wonder about the value of such tests. Good luck to the Pirate. Your photos today are EXCELLENT!

Joanne that is a wingnut! I must check the photo sizing, it seems to have put them bigger than usual!

I think we could keep ebay going for a bit with all the un-used bits we have. Must get round to it. Best wishes to the man for the mri. xx
