Afternoon forest walk

From Stinchar Bridge, a path that was strengthened with money from the millennium fund. It needs more work now, and has changed in places due to tree harvesting.

Pirate has been walking the route since 1991, I started about five years ago.

Finished before dusk...just!

Your afternoon walk looks as murky as ours was - we also got back just at dusk - felt better for being out :)

Amy only about 5km! But being mainly stony track, in stout boots we took two hours!

Beautiful country! But who's Catherine Lawson?

Fabulous flora along the route, and I love the babbling stream. Good to hear you enjoyed your walk...and don't you both look great for your finish!

I loved the sign advising the wearing of stout footwear.

If the pirate has been walking the path since 199whatever, I do hope he comes home for his tea? Surely he must be in the Guinness Book of Records by now for the slowest walk ever?

Oh, a lovely walk. But it looks cold!

We were well wrapped up Cat, but actually too warm by the end! It wasn't that cold in real numbers, still just under 10C/50F
