No medals this time, but Pirate had a great time, riding hard and seeing friends.
The Carpenter and Woodchip came to see us at the velodrome
And we saw a duck!!
Pirate got a standing ovation as he left the track after his last race from clubmates and friends...and then we photographed his club sponsor who has helped him and many others, with members of both our clubs. He is the one in the pale blue shirt holding a glass thankyou plaque that Pirate had made.
Now a couple of days rest and seeing friends!!

That brings back memories - hours and hours, days and days, months and months, years and years spent with a stopwatch there... happy times...
