Spring Saunter

Today was one of those breathtaking, chilly breeze but hot sun days, so we had a wander late afternoon. Himself isn't up to a proper energetic walk yet!

Wild cherries, or Geans.. hope we can get to some before the birds in a couple of months!

Like the river, the pond is low on water.

Woodland...and hedgerow

apple

sloe, or blackthorn

pear

and again pear
Living in hope!!

don't think I ever saw a pear tree before! how lovely. Your part of the country is looking very colourful - I just love this time of year, so much going on outside, and I see you too have the joy of bluebells :)

Nice pictures and nice weather! It's been cold down here in London, too, but sunny, at least.

I love your pictures. Your season is far ahead of ours. I love the promise of spring though. It is hard not to feel hopeful and hope is a precious commodity in these days

Neat to see Spring colours after the cold Winter.
