A clearer start...then back to double digit temperature...yo yo weather!
This was at 8.05 am this morning
Like someone said this evening, it was like a September day, without the daylight!
The people at the new gallery in town like the work I took to show them....they have a "guest pop-up table" in the small gallery ...I have the work, now to prepare it for sale..
The table is booked up for a couple of months, so no pressure.
Then some shopping before getting back home...I started a batch of yoghurt..not a lot of work and if I can get back in the routine of making it , it will be cheaper than buying yoghurt.
The wind got up this evening , back to hoolie status by the sound of it! An evening to draw the curtains and carry on with making bike bits shine again.

...I have a hoody on inside the house tonight!
Making your own yoghurt. Now that's an interesting task. The sky is somewhat dreary but I suspect it will be cheerier once the sun comes up.
I'm sure that homemade yoghurt is much better nutritionally than storebought stuff!
We make our own yoghurt but using a packet which appears from the label to be made from good stuff. It tastes delicious.
Double digits? that's positive mind you it feels like it's still in Spring here.
Supposed to be over 10C here but that strong northerly wind makes it feel much colder.
I wonder if I could make fat free yogurt?
Fat free yoghurt would not be easy..but worth trying. Can you buy fat free live yoghurt? You match the starter yoghurt with the milk you use...maybe with one of the powdered starter cultures you can get? Have a go!!
Better than most! But you can buy decent live yoghurt now with nothing else added
A much calmer day here today. Yesterday was horrible wet and very windy.
We're the same -- it's weirdly mild today. Can't wait to see your display on the gallery pop-up table!
Yay pop-up table!
Good on ya for making yogurt too.
It’s funny, isn’t it, all these ancient foods that basically make themselves naturally by fermenting and bubbling and turning – – like bread or yogurt or kombucha– – that have become “artisanal” or are considered exotic now.
our ancestors made them for thousands of years
Your walk shows a real Winter scene with the lack of greenery. Then the temperature swings keep us guessing.
Your yogurt sounds really good. Do you add fruit or flavoring?
Selling pottery again makes a good venture.
I add the yoghurt to other things rather than things to the yoghurt.
The selling will be prints to start with, pottery more long term plans..as ever!
That's exciting about the pop-up! I love the term "Hoolie" -- it just fits!
