I have been sorting clothes and shoes and books with Daughter.
SiL has been in the Bike room, doing tools and bikes and bits.
The Oily One and friend have been working on Pirate's shed....
There is much rubbish....a lot of metal to go to the artist blacksmith in the artists collective...quite a few things handed over as they can be of use to them.
Daughter and SiL leave tomorrow...my 15 year old autistic grandsons have been with SiL's 90 year old dad....they have been cooking and he took them to the Waterways Museum. Great fun being had all round!!
The Oily One and friend are here for a few more days....when work will be a little less intense and stressful!!

...you have your work cut out for you!
Kids! As one ages, they become more help, don't they.
It has been hard doing it alone
It takes a while...but eventually!!
Wonderful they are pitching in!
Living alone, at Xmas Eve dinner I so appreciated another pair of hands simply to help move the table out
so we’d all fit around it.
And hooray for 15 year olds hanging out with 90 year olds! 😀
Looks like a job well on the way to bring done.
Knowing where to start is the problem isn’t it.
‘Do I clear that side which will add to that pile - or do I go in another direction’
Crikey that's some clear out. Is that a second greenhouse - or the one we saw you growing veg in last summer? Yard sale coming up?
That's a big job!

I've been so slack about commenting, but have enjoyed reading abour your travels, and arty adventure throughout the year. As for this 'decluttering', I know how onerous a task this can be, but with others to help, there can be some nostalgia and joy in it, too. That there are places to send it for further usefulness is satisfying.
As 2026 races at us now, I wish you and yours all the very best for the year. May it bring many smiles, fond memories, new ones, good health and more adventure! Sending big warm hugs this frosty morning (by the Clyde), YAM xx
Glad you've got some helpers for a few days!
It's good that you have some help to move some of the stuff you don't need.
Well done! Each person taking on a particular clear-out task makes the job easier. Divide and conquer.
Having help is always appreciated.
And good wishes to you and The Grey xx
Just the one greenhouse.
No.. just several trips to the Cowp. (Recycling centre). Most of it not worth anything or of use
We definitely need to do this at our house.
Well done! Always a mess before progress can be seen.
But you are surely stepping into 2026 with a clean slate, won't you!
