It has showered on and off all day!
Starting at dawn....8.30
Then at9.15
We tried a walk just before lunch...but got a bit wet! But it was good to see a friend of my friends..a crofter..who also makes dentures in a small lab by his house.
JayCee I didn't do too badly...it is a year since I played...here in Stornoway...and that was the first time ever! It was three bowls each..three pairs..on each of the two mats.
I managed one decent shot most times..we won't talk about the others!!
There was the hope of seeing an aurora tonight...but in the gaps in the clouds an almost full moon is shining...not much hope to see anything.

As long as you have fun it doesn’t matter if you win or lose.
That’s what I always told my kids growing up.
I got an Aurora alert but we also had clouds.
Do you see many Auroras?

That's what it looks like here today -- though no doubt warmer.
indoor bowls was a staple winter community gathering where I grew up. Dozens wpuld turn up at the local hall on bowls night. Good you retained the skills.
With the exception of the ongoing rain, you are enjoying your visit.
Cloudy at 9pm when everyone else saw it....tonight it should be visible at 2am....we'll be asleep, hopefully!!
As long as you have a good coat and shoes the weather should keep you in (storms obviously excepted).
