The wind was chill today...and the bus was late!!!! Hat scarf and gloves were definitely necessary!
Lunch in Waterstones
Then a wander over to the North Bank..after finding a smaller but double layered steamer in a charity shop.
I went to the library early..the WiFi is good there... and it is warm..and we gathered upstairs...starting with cake and birthday greetings..leading your first topic...
The birthday "boy" is one side of the whiteboard, our teacher the other
Then the teacher had printed out on a double sided A4 sheet , and article from Le Figaro newspaper. We took turns to read paragraphs...I was pleased with how I did!
Back home on the bus, and time to make supper then sit seeing...

Glad you had fun!
Sounds like a very pleasant, if chilly, day. Your French is really coming along!
A lovely day trip out. My kind of day.

...I love bridges and this one is lovely.
I imagine the French used in Le Figaro is pretty sophisticated, so well done! I can about read a grade-school primer, I think. :)
The class members look like a fine group of people and celebrating a B-day builds connections and friendships.
Reading from the French newspaper shows skill you are doing well which is very encouraging. Well done.
I love the Waterstones! you are always working at some project. I admire that about you.
A wonderful day. I bet you were pleased to get back home and get nice and warm again
