"new" mower

We have been given a mower..Mark 1 was patented in 1934,this is Mark 4...I think we now have a bowling green!   The grass is happy, looks as if it is filling up the gaps where it was full of moss.
The clutch needs a little tlc and it came without its grassbox, but the Pirate is happy using it!

printing small

prototype business cards...I'll have to handwrite the details for now and when I'm happy with the design get them done professionally....seeing as I have a graphic designer daughter, keep it in house!  I don't expect it for free....

computers continued...

The laptop is sick...but working with a cable, not Wi Fi....
so we are up and limping..

Time for a new laptop come July...the fan is working overtime even when nothing is being used, so that is a hardware problem.

Computer problems yet again

Sorry for the break in writing...modem problems now sorted by my brother, but it caused the operating system  to have crashed and now isn't communicating with anything.
At least the tablet is working, if slowly..it is far from new! But at least it does do things..and I have to learn how to use it as well!!

more garden construction

Today was a day mostly at home...for a change, doing our own garden!
I thought of a design to support the peas...and more of the "useful wood pile" was used.  The Pirate made it and adjusted the design as he went!
After a few days sun, plants have perked up and started growing..although the Easterly wind is still chill and strong.
Using pallets...all the plants in pots need sorting and the boxes planting up properly...but this is going in the right direction.

The first crop of salad leaves this year!

celebrating

Four years together....chocolate cheesecake, Kiwi wine and ....
half the workshop floor painted!   Everything will be moved over any time now,and the other half done before the weekend.

Me, I've been looking at photos taken, working out a theme starting on the linocut prints I did a year ago...there is a small seed of hope....
