Moving on

The view from the Bluebridge ferry just before we left.
It arrived late, due to adverse tides after having more lorries than usual to load. We left an hour late, and arrived an hour and a half late as we had a headwind across the Cook Strait plus strong tides..although it was mostly a smooth crossing.
An easy drive up SH1, not much delays with the roadworks where they are punching the new expressway through everything.
It does make the journey easier..but it is breathtaking how much land is disappearing.
We arrived at Foxton Beach top 10 holiday park....

This unit is less than a year old, but there are other older and bigger cabins. And it is inexpensive....about £35 for the two of us, spotless toilet+ shower block, kitchens, playpark....
In our little cabin we have bed, table and chairs, fridge, kitchen unit with kettle, plates, cutlery...
Why can't we have something inexpensive and good in the UK?
Instead of cheap and tacky and costing minimum twice the price.
