Walk in the Woods

 Sort of!

Just Dumfries House..we had hoped to get local Mossgiel milk from a vending machine..it was in the cafe, but they only did semi skimmed .

I use full fat to make our yoghurt. So it is back to the drawing board to find an East Ayrshire vending machine as we are restricted to our local council area for three weeks from tomorrow.

I like their milk as it is local , from Ayrshire cows, pasteurised but not homogenised...it is as it comes, near enough. Other milk you get with a specific fat level, is skimmed then the percentage required is returned to it..not my idea of real milk!

It also makes cracking good yoghurt!!

So we just had a short walk in the grounds instead.

I'm cuious about your vending machines to buy milk. We don't have such a thing here.

They are becoming more common over the past year or two, but talking to my son who has been to Belgium and the Nederlands you can get all sorts of things in vending machines...even beer!

Great dark tree silhouette.

Well, it looks like a worthwhile trip just for the walk! I love that redwood (I think?) with the two trunks.

Ah, pasteurised but not homogenised - that is the best!

oh that little roman style building reminds me of a mauseleom but the sign on the wall made me laugh.

we've a milk vending machine by the canal up in the Vale of Pewsey, using the local farm's milk.
More exotically, there's apparently a pizza vending machine now in Bristol. I've heard it alleged that the pizzas are edible too, blimey
