We have been helping a fellow villager clear some derelict land between the river and one lane out of our village..he doesn't have a chainsaw...Pirate does!
So to go with the small woodstove that I might be in line for as someone else upgrades....
Fuel!!
We were lucky to finish before the rain shower came through..this is it as it left us...
After the shower, the sky was clear for the sunset.

That's a fair amount of wood. I hope you get the stove, too.
It is always good to have a nice stack of firewood.

Joanne if we don't get this one, it will be incentive to get another!
Excellent start of a woodpile...I hope you have more wood to go through a winter before next year, but if it's just a "sometimes" stove, it will still be nice!
We happened to be driving by a place where an old man was struggling with a very ornate little woodstove. It was brand-new. He had never got around to installing it. He was moving and needed it gone. He gave it to us. We couldn't believe our luck.
