Kasama pottery

A Link to a programme about Kasama pottery in Japan, with Euan Craig, the Australian potter who trained in Mashiko and has lived in Japan for about thirty years.

Thanks for that link GZ, we had a lot of Japanese pottery in the household, mostly the dark brown. Also large 'ali baba' pots with the black trickled down the side. It was so interesting to see pottery plates made for specific food dishes and display so different from our culture.

I remember reading Euan Craig's blogs...not too many years ago. He's posting more on FB these days. His pottery is still beautiful!
