Keeping warm

Making chutney with the reduced price tomatoes we bought on the way home yesterday!

Cherry tomatoes...fiddly to de-skin...sweet red peppers, onions and garlic from the garden.

Outside it is cold damp and windy...this is Summer?

I am very interested in this chutney. I thought it was a sweet spread that went on bread. Tell me where I have gone wrong. What would you use tomato chutney for?

Oh dear. I've fallen down an rabbit hole now. Google is not my friend!

On bread, on the side of a salad or a curry...with a slice of apple...very versatile!!

I'll trade you my week of high 90˚F, 37C, with dusty winds, any day.

I missed my chance for tomatoes this year, sick for the plant sale. Very sad.
