Robin update

I went by bus to collect a new clutch cable from Ayr...you have to buy the whole thing despite it only being a small plastic widget which gave way....

Pirate carried on with garden tidying, and was about to clear away a couple of boxes by the back gate, in front of a plastic compost bin.....he almost upended a watering can...and found it full of robin and moss!!

Hopefully the robin will resettle....

That puts paid to getting compost out of that bin for the leek patch!!

Hopefully the robin will return and resettle..if not, we have provided a des res elsewhere, in a place that they often peck around....

how lovely to have robins nesting in your garden, although they do choose some strange places and often put themselves at risk!

Birds have a habit of nesting in inconvenient places!

Oh, I think your robin will return. They seem to know where they're welcome, even if they are a testy lot.

I am certain that the des res will be discovered and once it is, well...you will have robins there forever!

What a joy.

Robin is busy sitting. Pirate has placed a shelter over the top to keep the rain and hopefully marauding magpies out

Hopefully they will return - it's no fun being kicked out of one's des res.
