Grey

 Grey, dull, damp and chill.

It isn't actually that cold...but I have had to put the central heating on.

A little garden tidying done this afternoon. I should put those chairs in a shed....but they are all full! I think I have a tarp to tie over them.

I retreated to kitchen sorting, looking out what will sell and what can be dumped...quite a few old bidons are now in the plastic recycling bucket....

And I have sold a new cast iron casserole that we never used...to a friend!!

Next step will be coordinating meeting to deliver said item...they live 150 miles away.. but Gretna is halfway and I go through there when heading south....

A definite incentive to look at what else can go!!

Winter can be a dreary season. A day like today (here) with the sun shining is a welcome relief.

It has been so grey, damp and dull hasn't it.
The damp just adds to the chill. Heating on here too.

I don’t mind the grey so much if it’s not really cold. Yes it’s a perfect day to get outside and work on the garden. No risk of sunburn and cool enough to stop you over heating.
Your doing an awesome job de cluttering

I bet that cast iron casserole weighs a ton too!

Yes indeed, that is grey! One of those days to potter about inside. But you still got a bit done outside! Yay for selling the big pot! I sold a few things on ebay this week, surprising since I closed the store for a month and just re-opened it, but haven't added anything new. Need to get busy on that, but not feeling too motivated.

..our Great Lakes give us plenty of overcast skies, but knock of wood we has sunshine today. Take care and be well.

A cup of tea or coffee helps on a cold damp day. My heating is on nights as nights are getting close to freezing. Days are warmer but require wearing layers.

It seems like downsizing is never ending and worse that you make very little progress.

I had to look up what a bidon was! I've never heard that term before.

It sounds so strange, but I do love a gray day! There is something magical about them to me. I can stay inside and putter. I can read. I can think thoughts. I like the quiet.

I am not such a fan of the cold however. I will admit to that!

We were making progress until Pirate got sick...now I have to do it for both of us, and I'm finding just how much was kept just in case...

The proper cold I can manage..but it is this damp hard cold that gets into one...

I'm in total agreement about damp cold which seems to get into the level of my bones. Keep on with the sorting and selling...especially on grey days!
