Happy whatever you celebrate ❤️
I started working on a block yesterday
I will print up some business cards in a minute using all the small blocks.
Good practice.
I won't open any ink, just use the stamping ink pads...less mess to clean up !!
I had a few messages yesterday and one phone call.
Messages this morning..one friend visiting her mother on the Isle of Man has woken up with no voice after a night of coughing..a busy girl now having enforced rest!
Another friend is just back from a trip to NZ where a friend had a lovely wedding in Te Anau.
I might be getting a phone call today from another friend...
And hopefully the Oily One will be here... maybe tomorrow!!
It is all grey and damp out there...but it is forecast a bit better by midday, so a walk just might be in order.

Happy Christmas!
Merry Christmas- here’s to a joyful new year too
Enjoy Christmas!

Happy Art Making, heading into a new year...!
Lovely work. What is Wet & Dry? I have some shiny marmoleum that someone said they sand lightly to get the sheen off. I want to try that, or something, as I have a lot of it, free, from a friend who got new flooring.
,,,here's to a better forecast!
Wet and Dry is very fine ..I'm using P400 It says Silicon Carbide waterproof abrasive paper on the reverse, which explains the black colour. You don't have to use it wet, but that does mean no dust..I use it just damp as you don't want to get the lino too wet
Happy creating! And may your Christmas be joyous as well as your contacts with friends and family. And a big wish for you to have some sunshine!
Merry Christmas. I am going to treat myself to a basic lino cut kit, and see how I do.
Hope Oily One arrives and mops up the leftovers!
I spoke to my NZ friend first thing, and she met her namesake for the first time. Wonderful.
Happy Christmas GZ.
Merry Christmas, Gwynneth! It's gray here too, and foggy over the water in the morning.
Hope that you get a break in the weather and get a walk in today. Happy Christmas!
You don't hear much about print making so your post is interesting. Much print making in the arctic with soapstone being used.
I hope you are having a happy day.
Wishing you the Christmas you want to enjoy and a real knees-up for Hogmany
I remember Christmases with just the 2 of us here. Not often, but with 5 sons it is surprising that it happened at all. But I admit, they were kind of nice, very low stress. It sounds like you had a quiet, creative time in between phone calls. Happy Boxing Day!
I love the blocks and even the first untreated one has an interesting texture to it. Can't wait to see you business cards -- I hope you share! Belated Christmas greetings and Happy Boxing Day!
