Uphill

After yesterday's rain, it was windy to start...so a walk after the wind had abated a little....UP Wairere Road....

And going down a path...

I picked up something to draw again, but I'm not satisfied.... better specimens needed and an I D,  I think.

...if there is an uphill, there's a downhill!

Thank you for that little glimpse of leaves and green and birds chirping. Good for the soul, isn't it?

A good walk gives you many photo opportunities.

I'm stumped by the plant you are drawing. Do you know what it is?

It will be from one of the pines... possibly the Norfolk Island Pine?

Walking with views of roadside greenery keeps things interesting.
Pine trees make good subjects for sketching.

Agapanthus! I just love their blue flowers.
Some days I sketch with enthusiasm and the end result is just rubbish and some days I just sketch and my pen makes the perfect marks - very unpredictable (for me that is!)

I loathe agapanthus....the pollen gets to my sinuses....
