Always nice to have a quiet day indoors after so much activity.
You do patchworking on holiday?!
I thought you would get it. Mangawhai was hit hard - 2 in hospital, power cut etc. etc. We had heavy rain and thunder in the night and showers today.
Less holiday, more just living here for a short time 🙂

You could be in Ireland or Scotland. I am sure it will soon brighten up.
((o))
Yes, hard to head out into bad weather. Your patchwork of shirts is good work--I look forward to seeing more of it.
Oh, I can't wait to hear a thunderstorm again. I am looking forward to winter being done!!!
Or in Somerset...
How long will you continue in New Zealand? I'll bet Scotland is missing you!
Working on your squares makes a good rainy day project. Is this your first rain since being in NZ?
Just over another month.
I'm not missing cold, damp weather and power cuts!!
It was damp when I first arrived, then summer kicked in...first rain here for three weeks
Most of the country has had that weather especially Northland, Mangawhai, my home time had a tornado. Wish we had some more rain though.
